Corps de Ballet, American Ballet Theatre

Born in Pensacola, Florida, Lauren Post began her dance training at the age of three. After moving to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she continued her training under Henry Danton. In 2002, she left home to study at the Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. She joined American Ballet Theatre as an apprentice in January 2008 and the corps de ballet in June 2008. Her repertory includes the third girl in Fancy Free, one of the Nutcracker’s Sisters in Alexei Ratmansky’s The Nutcracker, the Rancher’s Daughter in Rodeo, Rosaline’s Friend in Romeo and Juliet, the Italian Princess in Swan Lake, Persephone in Sylvia, and Odalisque in LeCorsair, Zulma in Giselle, and Miette qui Tombent fairy in Sleeping Beauty. She created the Silver Fairy in Alexei Ratmansky’s The Sleeping Beauty.

Post has also performed in Joshua Beamish’s Surface Properties in 2015, and with Gemma Bond’s Harvest in 2016/2017.

Lauren was honored to be a part of the inaugural Ballet Sun Valley Festival in 2017, and is thrilled to be returning this year!
